The 10K Award Program provides a very attractive enticement to the approximately 5000 agents in the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS® to show and sell a 10K home for the chance to win $10,000! Plus, the program helps a listing compete against new home builders’ incentives offered to REALTORS®. ERA Shields Real Estate is the ONLY firm in the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS® offering this program.

How the 10K Award Program Works

The cost for homeowners to participate in the 10K Award Program is small in relation to the substantial benefit they receive. Sellers agree to pay ERA Shields Real Estate $300 at their home’s closing, in addition to the regular commission.

The fee goes into a holding account. After 50 residential listings in the 10K award program are sold and closed, a drawing is held to award $10,000 of the accumulated funds to an eligible agent.

Any agent who sells at least one of the 50 participating 10K listings is eligible to win the $10,000. By selling more than one 10K listing for any single drawing, agents substantially increase the odds of winning. One winning associate who sold three 10K listings within one round of the award said, “I am totally sold and totally support this program. I go out of my way to show a 10K home!”

How to Find 10K Listings in PPAR MLS

To find a 10K Listing in the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS® (PPAR) simply do the following:

Step 1: Sign in to your PPAR.com account

Step 2: Select the PPMLS Matrix

Step 3: Select "Search" on the Blue bar at the top of the screen, then select "Residential", then select "Resi Default Search"

Step 4: Make sure to select status

Step 5: Scroll down to the "Additional Fields" section and click in the "Incentives" box and enter the following: *10K*

Step 6: Go to the top of the screen to see the results

Rules for Participating Real Estate Agents

Every PPAR licensed real estate agent is eligible to participate in the ERA Shields 10K Award Programs with the opportunity to win $10,000.00 subject to the Rules and Regulations listed below:

1. Eligible properties in the ERA 10K Award Program will be appropriately identified in the MLS. Those that are official 10K Award Program Homes will be identified by “###10K Listing ###” in the incentives section.
2. After fifty(50) ERA Shields and 10K Award homes have closed, a drawing from eligible official entries will take place to determine a 10K winner! The drawing will take place at a party for all participants with the location to be announced.
3. ERA Shields will announce the drawing 3 weeks prior to the event. (AGENTS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!)
4. Each eligible ERA Shields 10K Award home sold and closed, and for which commission has been received from the seller, will entitle the selling agent to one official entry card in the 10K Award Program drawing.
5. Each Selling Agent who qualifies for an entry card must have an active real estate license, be a member of the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS®(PPAR) and a signed Broker Consent Agreement on file with ERA Shields at the time of the drawing in order to be an eligible Entrant/Winner. (This is to be done with each drawing that you are entered into.)
